The United Nations Office for Outer Space Affairs (UNOOSA) was founded in order to regulate outerspace activities in a peaceful manner.

As more nations and private actors engage in space activities, the need for global collaboration becomes increasingly important. The agenda aims to encourage dialogue on how the international community can work together to ensure that outer space remains a peaceful, secure and accessible environment for all. Delegates are tasked with exploring key issues such as equitable access to space technology, transparency in space operations, the prevention of weaponization, and the promotion of sustainable space exploration for the benefit of humanity.
